Preamble
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the FinLearn platform available at finlearn.dev, published by FinLearn (SASU — SIREN 103 117 438).
Acceptance of Terms
Use of the FinLearn platform is conditional upon express acceptance of these Terms of Use. At registration, the user checks a box confirming they have read and accepted these Terms. Without this acceptance, access to the platform is not possible. Simply browsing finlearn.dev does not constitute acceptance of these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
FinLearn is a financial education platform for students. It offers educational paths, a financial glossary and a learner community. Access is free for student users.
2. Registration and User Account
2.1 Registration conditions
Registration is open to any individual in higher education. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
2.2 Confidentiality of credentials
The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. In case of compromise: paul@finlearn.fr
2.3 Single account
Each user may only create one account. Multiple or fictitious accounts are prohibited.
3. Rules of Use
The user agrees not to, in particular:
- Reproduce or commercially exploit the platform's content
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access content
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Impersonate another user
- Publish unlawful, offensive or third-party rights-infringing content
4. Intellectual Property
All content — paths, capsules, texts, visuals, logo — belongs to FinLearn (SASU). The user benefits from a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of access, for strictly educational and personal purposes.
5. Financial Disclaimer — Limitation of Liability
FinLearn's educational content is provided for exclusively informational and educational purposes. It does not constitute personalised investment advice within the meaning of MiFID II, a recommendation to buy or sell financial instruments, nor tax, legal or financial advice.
FinLearn is not an AMF-accredited CIF. FinLearn shall not be held liable for losses resulting from decisions taken on the basis of its content. Any investment decision must be made after consulting an accredited professional.
6. Service Availability
FinLearn strives to ensure platform availability but cannot guarantee the absence of interruptions. Except in security emergencies or force majeure, FinLearn undertakes to inform users within a reasonable timeframe of any planned interruption.
7. Corporate Partnerships
Content co-developed with partners is clearly identified. No partnership compromises educational quality or content independence. FinLearn is not an advertising platform.
8. Suspension and Termination
8.1 By the user
Account deletion is possible at any time by contacting paul@finlearn.fr. FinLearn undertakes to process the request within 30 days.
8.2 By FinLearn
FinLearn may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of the Terms, abusive behaviour or fraudulent use. Except in emergencies relating to the security of the platform or users, FinLearn undertakes to notify the user concerned by email before any suspension, giving them the opportunity to submit their observations within 7 days.
9. Modification of Terms
FinLearn reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, in particular to comply with legislative or regulatory changes, or to reflect changes in the platform's operation.
In case of substantial modification, FinLearn undertakes to inform users by email or platform notification, and to observe a notice period of at least 30 days before the new version enters into force.
Minor modifications not requiring notice include: spelling corrections, version number and date updates, and editorial clarifications with no impact on the rights and obligations of the parties.
10. Force Majeure
FinLearn shall not be held responsible for any failure resulting from a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including: natural disasters, epidemics, acts of war, third-party infrastructure failures (including Google Cloud), cyberattacks external to FinLearn, administrative or legislative decisions.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. French courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Users who are nationals of another EU Member State retain the right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
